Requirements

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of e-assessment activities, including the development of assessment question banks and scheduling of e-assessments on official UFS online assessment platforms.
  • Assist in the development of training material for objective assessments.
  • Provide support on the preparation, implementation and evaluation of student and academic staff training.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data and report writing.
  • Provide student and academic staff support in the use of the UFS online assessment platform.

Inherent Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7.

The following criteria apply to the selection of potential candidates:

  • The applicant should not currently be participating in an existing learnership/internship programme.
  • The applicant should not have any previous formal work experience.
  • The applicant must be willing to sign a learnership/internship agreement with UFS.
  • The applicant must be available for a period of 1 year to participate in the learnership/internship.

Recommendations

  • Postgraduate qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Student Assistant/Tutor/EduTech Buddy/Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience with a Learning Management/Assessment System.
