Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating layout plans, and selecting finishes and furnishings. Key responsibilities include space planning, preparing detailed construction drawings, collaborating with architects and contractors, and sourcing FF&E. The role requires managing projects to ensure they align with the client's vision, timeline, and budget while delivering innovative and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and expertise in developing creative and functional design concepts.
- Experience with Space Planning and Architecture to create efficient and visually appealing layouts.
- Skills in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection, sourcing, and specification.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and project teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
