Role Description The Insurance Sales Agent role at Prudential Uganda is a full-time, on-site position based in Uganda. The Insurance Sales Agent will identify prospective clients, present suitable insurance solutions, and support customers in selecting products that meet their protection and investment needs. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, conducting needs assessments, explaining policy details, preparing quotations, and processing applications. The role also involves following up on leads, achieving sales targets, providing ongoing customer service, and collaborating with colleagues to support branch activities and promotional initiatives. The Insurance Sales Agent is expected to uphold Prudential’s values, comply with regulatory requirements, and represent the brand professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Sales, with a focus on meeting targets and growing a client portfolio.
- Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of Insurance products and, ideally, experience in Insurance Brokerage.
- Candidates should have solid Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, active listening, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured, on-site environment and collaborating with team members and management.
- A diploma or degree in any field prior experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, basic computer proficiency, and fluency in English (and local languages where applicable) are highly desirable. I
