Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Engineer role based in Lagos. The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining instrumentation systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of processes. Daily tasks include performing process control, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Process Control and Instrumentation systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Calibration of instrumentation equipment
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering principles
- Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in the petroleum or petrochemical industry is an advantage
