Position: Institutional Researcher and BI Analyst (AD07) (AD.07.4)
Brief Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research (qualitative/quantitative) and institutional survey studies as per the action plan of the Unit
• Carry out the development of research protocols, data gathering and analysis and report writing in response to specific research questions and specific projects
• Compile reports for management and other stakeholders
• Liaise with different stakeholders within and outside the University
• Present research findings to University Management and other stakeholders
• Quality assurance of all data inputs and outputs
• Mentoring and training of internal staff and BIS clients/users
Requirements:
• The successful applicant must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field
• 3 years’ experience in the University Industry or Higher Education is preferred; with at least 3 years work experience including research
• Good report writing skills including compilation of management reports
• Experience in conceptualising and conducting different survey studies, including development of research instruments, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination of final results
• Extensive knowledge of statistical analysis, research methodologies, data analytics and quality assurance
