Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Support Technician based in Lusaka,Zambia. The role involves providing technical support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and maintaining desktop computers, managing printer support, and performing computer repair tasks. The technician will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and assist in resolving technical challenges to support business functionality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Technical Support and Troubleshooting of IT-related issuesi
- Experience with Desktop Computers and Printer Support
- Skills in Computer Repair and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to nn mwork independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
- Relevant certifications in IT or a related technical field are a plus
- Prior experience in similar roles and familiarity with IT infrastructure is preferrerable
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- 2. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- 3. Repair and maintain desktop computers, printers, and related peripherals.
- 4. Assist with desktop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- 5. Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained to support business continuity.
