A leading “Fashion Retail" company located in Cairo, Egypt is hiring a “Information Technology Manager".
* (Job Description):
– Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across all retail branches and head office.
– Ensure continuous uptime and smooth operation of POS systems across stores.
– Oversee network performance (VPN, internet connectivity, firewalls) for multi-branch operations.
– Lead IT support for all branches, ensuring fast resolution of technical issues.
– Plan and execute IT setup for new store openings and expansions.
– Manage servers, backups, and data security to ensure business continuity.
– Coordinate with external vendors (POS providers, ISPs, hardware suppliers).
– Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
– Ensure proper documentation of IT systems, processes, and assets.
– Support integration between POS, inventory, and ERP systems.
* (Job Requirements):
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field.
– At least 6–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and networking.
– Proven experience in "retail" or multi-branch operations is highly preferred.
– Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and IT infrastructure.
– Hands-on experience with POS systems and retail technologies.
– Experience in managing IT operations across multiple locations.
– Ability to handle high-pressure situations and urgent technical issues.
– Strong vendor management and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft systems and general IT tools.
– Experience in retail chains with multiple branches (25+) is preferred.
