To provide first-line technical support to employees, assist in maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and ensure efficient resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues. The IT Assistant also supports day‑to‑day administrative and operational IT tasks to ensure smooth business continuity.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Log, track, and resolve support tickets within defined SLAs.
  • Assist with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Support end-users with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).

Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment and accessories.
  • Support the issuance, tracking, and return of IT assets for employees.
  • Assist in preparing equipment for onboarding and deactivation for exiting employees.

Project Support

  • Assist with IT rollout projects, upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or similar role.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold IT security standards.
