Position: Industrial Refrigeration Service / Maintenance Engineer
Position Overview
This role focuses on service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of industrial refrigeration systems. Candidates must have strong hands-on technical experience working in industrial environments. Suitable candidates will have exposure to cold storage facilities, food processing plants, blast freezing systems, and similar industrial refrigeration applications.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial refrigeration service and maintenance
- Experience with Freon and/or ammonia refrigeration systems
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in commissioning and repair work
- Understanding of industrial safety standards
- Ability to work independently and respond to site callouts
- Driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration faults
- Carry out commissioning and testing of equipment
- Service Freon and ammonia-based systems
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts
Prepare service reports and technical feedback
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

- Industrial cold rooms and cold storage systems
- Blast freezers
- Food processing refrigeration

- Freon-based industrial systems
- Refrigeration controls and troubleshooting
