Industrial Painter (Liquid and Powder Coat)
Location: Stony Point, NY
Job Type: Full time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
We are seeking an Industrial Painter to join a manufacturing team in Stony Point, NY. This role involves preparing, finishing, and applying liquid and powder coatings to manufactured components in a fast paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts for painting including cleaning, masking, and staging
- Apply liquid and powder coatings using spray equipment and related tools
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow work orders and production instructions
- Maintain accurate production and material records
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling practices
Requirements:
- Previous industrial painting or finishing experience preferred
- Experience with spray equipment and painting tools
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
- Strong teamwork and reliability
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as required for the role
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Ability to safely use manufacturing equipment and painting tools
This is a union shop. Employees become eligible to join the union and participate in company benefit plans after the 90 day probationary period.
Pay: $19.23 – $21.80 per hour
