ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN DUTIES

Employee shall perform the following job specific duties:

  • Provide First Line and Second Line Support for all ICT related incidents as experienced by the client staff
  • Diagnose, debug and resolve end-user technical problems via helpdesk ticket system, email, phone or in person
  • Ensure problems and issues are systematically tracked, escalated accordingly and followed up on in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues while working on short-term and long-term ICT projects
  • Assist in the provisioning of User Accounts, Computer Accounts on Line of Business Systems as required by the client
  • Identify and escalate incidents requiring urgent attention to Systems Administrator and Network Administrator
  • Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Update calls on the helpdesk system as required by Service Level Agreement
  • Other ICT Support tasks designated by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

  • MATRIC CERTIFICATE
  • COMPTIA A+
  • COMPTIA N+
  • DRIVER’S LICENSE
  • 2+ years’ WORK EXPERIENCE

MOBILITY

  • Position involves a lot of travel with Own Reliable Vehicle
