Job Purpose:

Responding and resolving the incidents involving applications and related equipment used at the workplace. Assist users and enable them to make effective use of systems and equipment. Provide support to users and problem solving on systems in the form of investigating, identification, root cause analysis and resolution of problem, providing info about the systems, and escalating problems not resolved within defined service level requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to staff and students on hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.
  • Assist with setup, installation, and configuration of desktops, laptops, projectors, printers, and other ICT equipment.
  • Support computer lab preparation and maintenance.
  • Assist with imaging and deployment of new devices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including WiFi access points and LAN connections.
  • Support audiovisual equipment during classes, events, and presentations.
  • Assist with printer support and printing software administration.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior ICT staff.
  • Ensure ICT equipment is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional and friendly customer service to users.


Minimum Requirements

  • High certificate, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (completed or currently studying). CompTIA a+ beneficial
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Advantageous Skills

  • Basic networking knowledge (switches, WiFi, IP addressing).
  • Exposure to Active Directory and Azure environments.
  • Understanding of printer management solutions such as Papercut.
  • Basic data analytics or reporting skills.
  • Experience with audiovisual equipment setup and support.
  • CompTIA a+
