IAM Parts Sales & Marketing Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced IAM Parts Sales & Marketing Coordinator to lead the development and expansion of IAM parts sales channels in South Africa. This role is suited to a commercially driven professional with strong knowledge of automotive parts and proven sales expertise.
You will play a pivotal role in exploring new partnerships, formulating marketing strategies, and establishing a robust supply system for IAM parts (CWORKS/TSelect). This is a handson role requiring agility, analytical ability, and strong stakeholder engagement across wholesalers, retailers, garages, fleet customers, and dealers.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research, analysing SWOT and demand trends across multiple channels.

Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for IAM parts (CWORKS/TSelect).

Monitor inventory levels, anticipate needs, and coordinate supply chain activities.

Gather and analyse competitive pricing data to support pricing strategies.

Serve as the first point of contact for quality complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepare customer visit reports, monthly reports, and coordinate with procurement teams.
Requirements

Extensive knowledge of automotive parts (batteries, shocks, filters, etc.).

Minimum 5 years’ sales or field sales experience, with at least 3 years in aftermarket/OEM parts.

Strong connections with wholesalers, retailers, and workshops.

Excel/PPTbased analytical skills (price comparisons, GP calculations, SKU analysis).

Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment and conduct onsite visits.
