HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- N3 Mechanical Engineering Certificate
- Recognised Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Hydraulic Technician
- Hydraulic Technician-related qualification or certificate
- Experience in mining, power generation, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance
- Proficient in interpreting hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components
- Diagnose hydraulic faults and perform corrective maintenance
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and project requirements
- Complete maintenance records and technical reports
- Work closely with site management and maintenance teams
