We are a growing HVAC company looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead, mentor, and develop our field technician team. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job, where you’ll be the backbone of our service operations, driving both team performance and customer satisfaction. You’ll report directly to company leadership and play a key role in taking the business to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a team of HVAC field technicians, your primary focus is developing your people, not running calls yourself
- Conduct ride-alongs for coaching and skill development, and step in on problem-solving calls when needed
- Serve as the point of contact for on-call technicians, your availability supports the team even outside core hours
- Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable in a practical, collaborative way
- Track and act on KPIs to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and elevate service quality
- Build genuine buy-in with your team by understanding the work and communicating with credibility
- Oversee day-to-day service operations from the Norvelt office
About You
- Prior experience as an HVAC Service Manager, Field Service Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong technical HVAC knowledge combined with management ability
- Familiarity with KPIs, revenue growth strategies, and team motivation
- A mentor mindset, someone who leads by example, earns respect through competence, and gets the best out of people without micromanaging
- Ability to set and enforce expectations firmly but fairly, not a dictator, but not a pushover either
- Skilled at selling ideas internally, getting technician buy-in through understanding and communication, not authority alone
