As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and support the growth of our workforce.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, policy implementation, compliance, and organizational culture.

This role requires a proactive HR professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.

· Lead the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.

· Manage employee relations by resolving workplace issues fairly and professionally.

· Design and oversee performance management systems, including KPIs and performance reviews.

· Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory regulations.

· Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, pension, HMO, and employee benefits.

· Develop learning and development initiatives to enhance employee capability and leadership.

· Drive employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives.

· Advise management on disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.

· Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and employee documentation.

· Monitor HR metrics and provide strategic recommendations to improve workforce performance.

· Lead HR projects that support organizational growth and continuous improvement.

Requirement:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

· Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

· Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.

· Experience in the retail, supermarket, FMCG, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
