Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Human Resources Manager based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Human Resources Manager will plan, lead, and coordinate HR strategies, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations. The role requires overseeing HR policies and procedures, managing employee training and development programs, and ensuring alignment with company goals. Additionally, the HR Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture and supporting organizational growth through effective human resource practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes
- Strong skills in employee relations, performance management, and change management
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR policies and procedures
- Ability to develop and manage training and development programs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HR software and systems
- Proven leadership capabilities and strategic thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is preferred
