Inani is looking for a detail-oriented, organised and diligent HR Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, payroll support, and general HR administration while ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in HR administration, preferably in a civil engineering consultancy environment.
- Understanding of South African labour legislation.
- English and/or Afrikaans speaking.
- Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in HR systems and payroll platforms will be advantageous.
Roles and Responsibilities (As required)
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, setting up and conducting interviews.
- Prepare employment documentation and support new employees by arranging IT and office equipment, issuing offer letters and contracts, and facilitating onboarding and induction.
- Act as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries, engagement, and leave balance monitoring.
- Assist with disciplinary procedures, grievance processes, and employee relations matters.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.• Ensure strict confidentiality of all employee information.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including maintaining training records,managing internships and learnerships in line with organisational and CETA SETA requirements.
- Compile and submit WSP/ATR reports, mandatory and discretionary grant applications, oversee the internship recruitment and appointment process, and provide ongoing reporting, monitoring, and feedback sessions with CETA SETA.
- Facilitate the implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with laborlaws and internal standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the workplace.
