TopFloor is looking for a skilled and motivated Human Capital Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support both our internal HR needs and our Consulting & Development clients. Your work will include recruitment and selection, team building, training, coaching, benchmarking, and research.

You will use analytical thinking, human‑centered design, and modern HR practices to help TopFloor strengthen client cultures, develop talent, and improve workforce performance. You will also collaborate closely with the team to deliver innovative, insight‑driven solutions that reflect the future of work.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Participate in developing and maintaining client relationships to support revenue generation
  • Support the management of client accounts and ensure service delivery meets TopFloor's service standards
  • Administer post‑service client satisfaction tools and compile insights for continuous improvement
  • Support managers in ensuring wellness, health and safety compliance for staff, visitors, and trainees at TopFloor facilities and service locations
  • Maintain accurate records of all services delivered
  • Maintain updated third‑party vendor registers (venues, branding, equipment, materials) with current pricing
  • Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with relevant stakeholders

Human Resource Development

  • Liaise with subject matter experts and facilitators on the design, preparation, and delivery of HR development and consulting solutions
  • Coordinate logistics for training, coaching, team building, and consulting events
  • Prepare, purchase, and package materials for all facilitated solutions according to set standards
  • Administer evaluation and assessment tools to measure solution effectiveness
  • Compile evaluation reports summarising impact on employee skills and KPIs
  • Stay updated on HRD trends, methods, and best practices to enhance service delivery
  • Facilitate HR development sessions (training, team building, consulting) and support the upskilling of interns and entry‑level staff
  • Facilitate internal alignment sessions on best practice, policy, and labour law compliance

Human Resource Consulting

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and emerging HR trends
  • Proofread HR documents including proposals, contracts, reports, and handbooks
  • Lead solutioning and delivery of job evaluations, benchmarking, HR audits, and organisational surveys
  • Conduct research to inform tools, recommendations, client support and industry trends

Recruitment & Selection

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection for all TopFloor clients
  • Advertise vacancies on appropriate digital platforms in line with service standards
  • Build talent pipelines by engaging passive candidates across platforms
  • Conduct shortlisting and candidate evaluations based on role requirements
  • Develop interview tools and conduct interviews for internal and external clients
  • Conduct reference and background checks for shortlisted candidates
  • Ensure timely communication of offer and rejection letters
  • Perform other special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be aligned to the TopFloor brand values
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent with bias toward Human Resources
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with provable track record in a similar role with experience in tasks as explained above
  • Should have demonstrable skill in the use of MS Office skills (Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint)
  • Should understand how to use the Google based work systems (Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive)
  • Must be a registered member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
  • Demonstrable understanding of Labour Laws and best practice in consulting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written forms
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Fluent in verbally communicating in at least one major local language
  • Physically fit to facilitate client development events
  • Ability to travel across client sites
  • Valid driver's license.
