Main Responsibilities
- Supervise assessment of possible hazards & risk involved for maintenance activities during working day /night.
- Evaluate existing work procedures to uncover areas where safety may be at risk and create the needed risk booklet for maintenance activities.
- Reporting to QHSE manager about safety issues.
- Ensure the usage of proper equipment’s during work .
- Ensure certification and inspect of all equipment’s/tools (forklift , crane , scaffolding ,..etc) if needed.
- Manage the lifting operation and identify the safe system of work.
- Maintain records of all incidents / accidents.
- Ensure availability of Emergency Response plan and its effectiveness.
- Conduct daily / weekly safety Toolbox / meeting(s) as per monitoring plan.
- Assist in the training and orientation of employees at all levels.
- Communicate to Sub-contractors the company OH&S System and ensure its implementation.
- Support corporate QHSE dept. For any task may requested
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor degree or Educated to Degree level – expert subject with the railway field.
Experience
- Minimum 7 Years’ experience within a full time Health and Safety / Environmental role
- Experience of working within a railway related environment and working on construction and/or maintenance projects
- experience of local and international standards with then the field
Language Requirements
Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.
