About The Job
- Drive and sustain a Safety 1st culture across warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with DHL Supply Chain HSE standards, local legislation, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Champion and enforce the Safety 1st culture across all warehouse operations.
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with DHL Supply Chain global HSE standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety inductions, refresher training, and emergency response drills.
- Track, analyze, and report HSE KPIs, incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Support contractor and visitor safety management within the warehouse.
- Promote environmental sustainability and waste management initiatives.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with safety and environmental policies.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by the line manager

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HSE experience in warehousing, logistics, or industrial environments.
- Added advantage: Exposure to telecom infrastructure, equipment, or project-based logistics.
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation, risk assessment, and incident management.
- Ability to influence behavior and drive a safety-first mindset at all levels.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and training skills.
