HR Manager (m/f/d)
Your new position and responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the HR function, ensuring compliance with labor law, internal policies, and corporate standards
- Development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Leadership, development, and motivation of the HR team as well as fostering a positive and high-performing work environment
- Promotion of a strong corporate culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Responsibility for all core HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations
- Ensuring timely and compliant payroll processes and personnel administration
- Acting as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related topics and supporting decision-making at leadership level
- Managing relationships with employee representatives (e.g. works councils, unions) and external partners
- Ensuring effective internal communication and transparent information flow across the organization
- Driving talent development, training initiatives, and succession planning
- Monitoring and analyzing HR KPIs (e.g. absenteeism, turnover) and defining measures to improve organizational performance
- Managing the HR budget and driving cost efficiency
- Leading change management and HR transformation initiatives (e.g. digitalization, process optimization)
- Ensuring the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
- Reporting HR performance, risks, and improvement measures to top management
- Representing the company in external HR-related matters
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health & safety, environmental, and corporate governance standards
Your Profile
- Bachelor and optional Master Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry (e.g. wiring harness production)
- At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in managing and developing HR teams
- Proven experience working in international and cross-location environments
- Strong knowledge of labor law, HR policies and best practices as well as experience working with employee representatives (e.g. works councils, unions)
- Solid experience across core HR processes including recruitment, payroll, employee relations and performance management
- Solid background in leading and managing change processes and projects
- Proven experience in organizational development and optimization
- Experience in HR controlling, budgeting and KPI management
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, develop and empower teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate business needs and translate them into effective HR solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify root cause and implement sustainable solutions
- High level of accountability, integrity and ownership
- Strong execution mindset with a focus on delivering results
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels, including executive management
- Strong customer orientation (internal and external) with a focus on service quality, cost and delivery
- Ability to build trust-based relationships and foster collaboration across teams and functions
- High level of resilience, adaptability, and openness to change
- Strong team orientation combined with the ability to drive alignment and cohesion in diverse environments
- Strong conflict management, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Fluent in French and English, additional languages (e.g. German) are a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems/tools
- Work on special projects and availability for business travel
