The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced HR professional ready to shape the people strategy of a forward-thinking healthcare business. As HR Executive, you will own the full HR function that will allow MHC to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent.
You will report directly to the Operations Director and operate as a strategic partner to the executive team. This is not a compliance-only role — but one that balances operational rigour with a genuine commitment to organisational culture and human development.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
· Lead end-to-end recruitment for all levels, with a focus on Operations, Sales, and Clinical functions
· Build proactive talent pipelines and employer brand positioning in the healthcare sector
· Design and implement structured onboarding programmes that accelerate integration and performance
HR Operations & Compliance
· Maintain full compliance with labour legislation
· Oversee all employment contracts, HR policies, and disciplinary procedures
· Superuser of HR systems, ensuring accurate, timely HR reporting to management
Organisational Development & Culture
· Drive performance management cycles — goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end assessments
· Design and implement L&D frameworks aligned to business strategy and skills development legislation
· Champion a values-led organisational culture that fosters accountability, inclusion, and high performance
· Lead change management initiatives and support the business through periods of structural transformation
· Coach and support line managers to build their people leadership capability
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field (Honours preferred)
· Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, of which at least 3 years at a management or executive level
· Demonstrable experience in the medical, healthcare, or allied health sector
· Proven track record in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and OD initiatives

Pay: R30 000,00 – R40 000,00 per month
