Main Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Room Servicing: Clean and prepare guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to hotel standards and daily room allocations.

Linen & Amenities: Change linens, replace towels, restock amenities, and ensure all items meet quality and presentation requirements.

Inspection & Detailing: Perform visual checks for maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report them promptly to the Supervisor.

Hygiene & Sanitation: Follow cleaning schedules and procedures for bathrooms, surfaces, floors, and furniture using approved cleaning materials.

Guest Interaction: Greet guests politely and assist with basic requests while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Team Support: Work collaboratively with fellow housekeepers, public area attendants, and laundry staff to meet daily targets.

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.

Lost & Found: Follow procedures for handling guest property responsibly.

Operational Standards: Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure storage areas remain clean and organised.

Requirements, Qualifications & Expectations

Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or similar hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of cleaning standards, chemical safety, and hygiene protocols.

Reliable, organised, and able to meet performance targets.

Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
