Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and clothing items with care and precision
- Handle dry cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring delicate fabrics are treated properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to maintain readiness for daily operations
- Follow established safety protocols when operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
- Maintain detailed records of laundry cycles and cleaning schedules for accountability and quality assurance
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry services or cleaning roles, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including dry cleaning processes
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
