The Inn is seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our residential or commercial spaces are spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential & commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface sanitization, and linen changes
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens
- Maintain floors through specialized care such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing to ensure a polished appearance
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ needs politely and professionally
- Manage kitchen-related tasks including basic cooking assistance when required
- Keep all cleaning supplies organized and report any maintenance issues promptly to management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, sanitation practices, and commercial cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with laundry processes preferred
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Previous housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
