Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure every guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our hotel. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver an exceptional hospitality experience every day.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas with precision and efficiency
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are well-stocked for guest comfort
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch areas
- Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventories to support operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances your ability to meet guest expectations
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals ensures safe and effective work practices
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while managing time effectively
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory roles
