Luxury Restaurant – Cape Town – Western Cape
We are seeking an experienced and driven Hospitality Leadership General Manager to lead a well-established restaurant based in Cape Town. This senior role is suited to a hospitality professional with a strong background in restaurant operations, team leadership, and customer service excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, maintaining high service standards, and leading a passionate team in a fast-paced environment.
As General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience while ensuring operational efficiency and financial control. You will work closely with senior management to achieve business targets, manage budgets, and implement strategic initiatives that support long-term growth. This position requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and develop teams to consistently perform at their best.
Hospitality Leadership Restaurant Manager Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Lead, train, and motivate management and service teams
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Manage budgets, stock control, and cost containment
- Drive revenue growth and overall profitability
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene compliance
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader
- Strong hospitality leadership and people management skills
- Solid financial and operational management experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure restaurant environment
Package
- Salary: R35 000 per month depending on experience
- Live-out position
