Hose Assembler – Up to $23.00/Hour Jobs in Peterborough, NH at TPI Staffing Group
Seeking a Hose Assembler in the Peterborough, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering up to $23.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test fire hose in accordance with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) requirements
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Take precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components
- Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- Check output to ensure the highest quality
Requirements:
- Experience as an assembler preferred but not required
- Flexibility with job rotation
- Ability to read blueprints,drawings,etc.
- Ability to use tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
