Job Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled, reliable, and customer-focused TV Wall Mounting & Home Theater Installer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of flat-screen TVs, surround sound systems, projectors, home theaters, and related A/V equipment in residential and light commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally mount TVs on a variety of surfaces including drywall, brick, concrete, and above fireplaces
- Install and configure home theater systems, soundbars, surround speakers, projectors, and screens
- Conceal wiring and ensure clean, secure cable management
- Calibrate A/V systems for optimal performance
- Educate customers on system usage and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean worksite and provide excellent customer service
- Document jobs and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in TV mounting or A/V installation
- Strong knowledge of A/V equipment, wiring, and mounting hardware
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in homes/businesses
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with smart home integrations (e.g., Sonos, Control4, Google Home, etc.)
- Basic carpentry, electrical, or networking skills
- Certifications such as CEDIA, CTS, or OSHA safety training
