What You’ll Do
Safe Transportation
- Operate heavy haul trucks to transport oversized loads safely
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Load Securement
- Properly load and secure heavy equipment
- Follow all load securement standards and best practices
Route Planning
- Plan efficient routes based on road conditions and job requirements
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery
Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report issues and assist with basic maintenance as needed
Documentation
- Complete logs, trip reports, permits, and required paperwork
- Track mileage, fuel usage, and job details accurately
Communication
- Stay in contact with dispatch, job sites, and customers
- Coordinate safe loading and unloading
Problem Solving
- Handle unexpected issues and delays in the field
- Keep jobs moving with minimal disruption
Customer Interaction
- Represent JP Tech professionally on job sites
- Work well with customers, crews, and site contacts
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Doubles/Triples endorsement required
- Experience hauling oversized or heavy equipment preferred
- Clean driving record
- Strong understanding of load securement
- Safety-first mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform inspections and secure loads
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the job

- Able to adapt to changing schedules and job conditions
