About the Role
Job Description:
- Preventive and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Repairs and overhauls
- Lubrication and wear management
- Documentation and data management
- Reliability and optimization
- Safety and quality regulatory compliance
- Procurement and vendor coordination
- Planning and coordination with operations
- Training and knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5 to 7 years in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical, NDT) are a plus.
- OEM certifications favored.
Required Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, pressure/flow tests, EDM analyzers.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering.
- Basic PLC/electrical control knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS), ERP modules, and productivity apps; basic data analysis skills.
- Certification and Training: Safety training including Lockout/Tagout, Sling/Lift planning, Fall protection, and forklift awareness as applicable.
Preferred Skills
- Field and shop maintenance experience with heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, concrete pumps, etc.).
- Familiarity with hydraulics, engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
Work Environment
- On-site at construction project locations and in the shop/maintenance yard.
- Exposure to loud environments, heavy machinery, and varying weather conditions.
