We're Hiring: Head of Sales – Device Financing | Mogo Kenya (Nairobi)
Are you a sales leader with a passion for fintech and emerging markets? Mogo Kenya, part of Eleving Group – a leading international fintech operating across 16 countries – is looking for a dynamic Head of Sales (Device Financing) to own and scale our device financing business in Kenya.
About the Role This is a senior leadership opportunity to take charge of a live, already-launched device financing program. You'll define the strategy, manage OEM partnerships, lead a high-performing sales team, and drive the financial performance of the business end-to-end.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the device financing sales strategy aligned with business goals
- Build and manage strategic OEM partnerships, securing favorable commercial terms
- Oversee the full device financing cycle – from product development to customer onboarding and repayment
- Lead, coach, and scale a team of device financing professionals
- Monitor financial performance and drive profitability improvements
- Partner with product teams on innovation, and ensure risk & regulatory compliance
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in sales leadership within fintech, consumer finance, telecom, or device financing
- Proven track record leading and scaling sales teams in fast-growth or emerging markets
- Strong background in dealer/distributor/retail partner network management
- Solid commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making
- Advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in BNPL (Buy Noe Pay Later) , mobile money, or familiarity with the Kenyan smartphone ecosystem is an advantage
