We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Risk Head to lead and oversee all aspects of retail credit risk management. This role is responsible for developing risk strategies, ensuring portfolio quality, and driving sustainable growth while maintaining strong governance and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping retail risk frameworks, policies, and controls across the organization.
– Develop and implement retail credit risk strategies aligned with business objectives and risk appetite
– Oversee portfolio performance, monitoring key metrics such as delinquencies, impairments, and risk-adjusted returns
– Lead policy development, underwriting standards, and risk frameworks across retail products
– Collaborate with business, analytics, and collections teams to optimize acquisition and portfolio management strategies
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
– 12+ years of experience in retail credit risk, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
– Strong expertise in risk strategy, underwriting, portfolio management, and analytics
– Proven track record of managing large retail portfolios (cards, loans, or similar products)
– Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk governance within banking/financial services
– Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
