Why this role
Build SVIS’s Entrepreneurship Department from the ground up. You’ll design the curriculum, train and coach teachers, and supervise the full learning process so students build real products, test ideas, and present to real audiences.
What you’ll do
- Curriculum: Create a sequenced, project‑based entrepreneurship curriculum for [grades 1-9] (design thinking, lean startup, finance, marketing, ethics).
- Teacher coaching: Observe classes, give bite-sized feedback, run PD, and model lessons.
- Student learning: Set rubrics, checkpoints, and capstones; run pitch days and showcases; track progress and close gaps.
- Partnerships: Connect with startups, incubators, and mentors; arrange talks, visits, and mini‑internships.
- Operations: Oversee schedules, resources, makerspace/safety, budget, and compliance.
- Culture: Build a safe, inclusive, “learn by doing” environment.
Must‑have qualifications
- A master's in Business/Entrepreneurship/Economics or Education is a must.
- Recognized teaching qualification.
- 5+ years of successful teaching in business/entrepreneurship/economics.
- 2+ years of leadership (head/coordinator/program lead) with evidence of coaching teachers.
- Proven record with project‑based learning, design thinking, or lean startup in 1–9.
- Current safeguarding/child‑protection training.
- Strong communication with students, families, and colleagues.
- Startup/industry experience or mentor network.
- Ran student ventures, pitch comps, or incubator‑style programs.
Compensation
- Salary: EGP 40,000 – 45,000
