Duties
- Assist in the preparation and layout of hardscape projects using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure precise installation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to install concrete forms, masonry units, pavers, and other materials.
- Mix and pour concrete, ensuring proper finishing techniques for smooth surfaces and durable structures.
- Install features such as stone veneer, brickwork, and trim carpentry components with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members on demolition, restoration, or remodeling tasks related to hardscape projects.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to construction sites.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
- Experience with concrete finishing, masonry work (including bricklaying and stone setting), and concrete forming techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, inspection processes, plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, and restoration work is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for glass installation or cabinetry projects.
