Join our dynamic Landscape construction team as a Hardscape/Concrete Technician and bring outdoor spaces to life with expert craftsmanship! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with installing, finishing, and repairing various hardscape elements and concrete structures, ensuring high-quality results that enhance aesthetic appeal and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from patios and walkways to retaining walls and decorative concrete features. Responsibilities
- Prepare work sites by setting forms, pouring concrete, and installing base materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install hardscape features such as pavers, bricks, stonework, retaining walls, and decorative elements following blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and material transportation to ensure efficient project progression
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Perform routine inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling, restoration, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades as needed for integrated project completion
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, masonry, or hardscape installation on construction sites
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
