The Handyman is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring all facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained to deliver a seamless and positive experience for guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks across the property.
- Support and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Air Conditioning: Perform filter cleaning and basic servicing.
- Plumbing: Repair leaks and replace fixtures and fittings.
- Painting: Carry out touch-ups and general finishing work.
- Carpentry: Complete minor repairs and installation tasks.
- Welding: Perform basic welding repairs where required.
- Assist with stock collection and handling of maintenance materials.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure proper housekeeping of work areas.
- Provide support with ad hoc maintenance and operational tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Multi-skilled with general maintenance knowledge across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
- Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
