VACANCY NOTICE
HANDYMAN BUILDING MAINTENANCE
(ACTING/CONTRACT POSITIONS)
The above-mentioned positions exist at Greater Soweto BU in the Technical Department and will report to the Facilities Manager. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill these positions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant will possess the following: –
· Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
· At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in a general building maintenance environment.
· Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
· Knowledge of plumbing, steelwork, and electrical work.
· Valid code 10 (C1) driver’s license.
· A Trade Certificate in Electrical or Plumbing will be an added advantage.
· A light current electrical qualification will be an added advantage.
JOB OUTPUTS
. General maintenance on property/building facilities.
. Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
. Adhere to workshop and company Health and Safety procedures.
· Perform and maintain all required administrative duties and records.
WORKING CONDITION
. Normal Putco working conditions apply.

- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
- general building maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
