Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Kempton Park for a Graduate Geologist. The Graduate Geologist will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, logging and interpreting geological data, producing geological maps, collaborating on geophysics-related assessments, and providing support during drilling operations. The role offers hands-on experience in various geological investigations and requires strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Field Work, Logging, and Geological Mapping
- Knowledge of Geophysics and its applications
- Experience or understanding of drilling processes and operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in outdoor and challenging environments
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in geological software and tools is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license is beneficial
