Role Description

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Global Account Executive based in South Africa to join our international team.

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, engaging with clients across multiple regions and industries. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by understanding client expansion goals and positioning tailored market entry solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from inbound qualification through to deal closure
  • Engage with international clients to understand business objectives and position tailored market entry solutions
  • Drive revenue growth by converting inbound leads and contributing to pipeline development through proactive outreach
  • Conduct discovery calls, solution presentations, and commercial negotiations with global clients
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline, ensuring consistent progression of opportunities and accurate forecasting
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic guidance on market entry, regulatory requirements, and operational setup
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and country teams to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Maintain high standards of CRM management (HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy, pipeline visibility, and reporting integrity
  • Stay informed on international market trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscape
  • Support expansion initiatives into new markets through client engagement and market insights

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets
  • Maintain strong pipeline coverage and consistent deal progression
  • Conversion rates across lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close stages
  • Accuracy of CRM data and sales forecasting
  • Timely and consistent submission of sales activity and performance reports 

Requirements

  • Based in South Africa (remote role)
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma preferred
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in B2B sales, consulting, or professional services is highly advantageous
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to understand complex service offerings and translate them into client value
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) preferred
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a global, remote team
