Generator CCO
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or related qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Power Plant Operations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in generator operations, outage support, or plant coordination within power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in monitoring generator activities, operational coordination, and reporting
- Experience working on Eskom power stations or large industrial outages will be advantageous
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor generator outage and operational activities
- Track work progress, defects, and maintenance activities on generators
- Compile operational reports, logs, and status updates
- Coordinate with planners, supervisors, contractors, and plant personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong monitoring and coordination skills
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
