General worker/ Store Assistant Jobs in Centurion at Value Co (Pty) Ltd
We are looking for general assistants to Join our Centurion Value Co Team and assist with daily store operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused, helping to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Answer basic questions about items, prices, or promotions
- Direct customers to the right departments or staff when needed
- Unpack and organize new stock deliveries
- Refill shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed
- Check for damaged or expired items and report them
- Keep the shop clean and tidy (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Ensure aisles are clear and safe for customers
- Assist with setting up displays or promotional stands
- Help at the till during busy periods
- Pack customers’ purchases
- Handle basic transactions if trained

Required Skills
- Good communication and friendly attitude
- Customer service experience (beneficial)
- Basic numeracy and literacy
- Disciplined
- Ability to work in a team
- Physical stamina (standing, lifting boxes, moving stock)
- Attention to detail
Qualifications
- Matric certificate (beneficial)
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Based in or around Centurion Mall
Working Conditions
- Shift work, including weekends and holidays
- Fast-paced environment, especially during sales or peak hours
