Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager – Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality customer experiences
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to optimize profitability
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance skills in food handling, cooking, and customer service
- Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, reconciliation, and reporting
- Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures to foster a professional team environment
- Coordinate with culinary staff on food production, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions to maximize revenue opportunities
Requirements
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a strong background in restaurant management and food service operations
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking
- Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality or food industry settings with a focus on team management and staff development
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, health regulations, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis within a restaurant context
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Previous experience in hotel or catering environments is advantageous; barista or coffee experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
