Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Commercial Performance
- Own the P&L for Ikoyi, Lekki and Accra; set store-level budgets, sales targets and KPI dashboards (conversion, ATV, UPT, gross margin).
- Analyse trading results daily, identify risks/opportunities and activate action plans (events, VM tweaks, clienteling, pricing or promotion levers) to hit or exceed targets.
2. Store Operations & VM Excellence
- Embed consistent SOPs covering opening/closing, cash, stockroom, health & safety, facilities and security.
- Champion flawless visual merchandising and brand presentation, driving weekly floor-set changes that align with collection launch calendars.
3. People Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach and inspire store Managers, stylists, cashiers and stock associates; cascade objectives and conduct monthly performance reviews.
- Recruit talent, design induction programmes and deliver ongoing product-knowledge, styling and service training to boost productivity and retention.
4. Customer Experience & Client Development
- Model a client-obsessed mindset; receive complaints on < 1 % of transactions.
- Oversee loyalty and clienteling initiatives, partnering with Marketing to curate “Sip, Style & Shop” events, influencer activations and personal-shopping appointments.
5. Inventory, Supply Chain & Loss Prevention
- Partner with Buying & Production to align intake flowsto sell-through trends, launch dates and space capacity planning.
- Enforce cycle counts, root-cause analysis and corrective actions to keep shrinkage
6. Financial Control & Reporting
- Prepare weekly trade packs and monthly board reports covering sales, margin, OPEX and capex; recommend tactical or structural course-corrections.
- Manage store OPEX (utilities, maintenance, marketing spend) within budget and negotiate favorable vendor contracts.
7. Cross-Functional & Expansion Projects
- Act as the primary retail liaison for E-commerce, Production, Finance and Marketing; synchronize online/offline launches and fulfilment.
- Lead new-store feasibility studies (e.g., Abuja), fit-out timelines and opening playbooks when approved.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field.
- 7 + years’ multi-site retail management experience within fashion apparel; West-Africa exposure strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering double-digit LFL growth and managing full P&L responsibility.
- Solid grasp of merchandising, inventory health metrics and retail math; advanced Excel/BI skills an advantage.
- Inspirational people leader with exceptional communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel between Lagos and Accra and work flexibly during peak trading periods
