General Laborer – Saunders Excavating
Join Saunders Excavating as a General Laborer and help support excavation and site development projects. In this role, you will assist with excavation and site development projects through physical labor, site preparation, and equipment support. Your hands-on skills and strong work ethic will help drive projects forward. Responsibilities
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and construction materials
- Assist with installation and repair of utility lines, drainage systems, and underground infrastructure
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support heavy equipment operators by spotting, guiding, and maintaining workflow on site
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and ensuring proper site safety
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in excavation is preferred
- Experience with heavy equipment operations is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor in outdoor environments
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Valid driver’s license preferred
