· Setting up gas cutting machines according to specifications
· Operating machines to operate oxy-acetylene/LPG gas cutting equipment for straight-line and profile cutting of mild steel and other metals
· Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
· Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
· Performing routine maintenance on machines. Maintain cutting equipment, gas torches, hoses, and regulators in safe working condition
· Troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments
· Set up and operate straight line cutting machines (track-guided/portable) accurately as per drawing specifications
· Mark out materials for cutting using measuring tools, templates, and markers
· Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness at the workstation
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Pay: R58,00 – R68,00 per hour
Education:
- High School (matric) (Required)
Experience:
- gas cutting: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Gas cutting certificates (Required)
