– $140,000 to $170,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new optometrist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary care team.
Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in a comfortable, modern outpatient setting.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
– provide complete, comprehensive eye exams for patients
– diagnose and treat conditions of the eye
– provide coordination of care services as needed
– deliver preventative and healthcare maintenance to patients
– work collaboratively with other providers
Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled.
The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
– active OD credentials
– New York optometrist license
– 1+ year practice experience
– contact lens fitting experience
