Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations within the fruit & veg department
- Ensure fresh produce is well-presented, rotated, and of high quality
- Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with ordering
- Lead, motivate, and support team members
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
- Ensure excellent customer service and assist with customer queries
- Implement merchandising standards to maximise sales
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant retail or FMCG experience (non-negotiable)
- Previous experience in a fresh produce or similar department is advantageous
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
