This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to how venture platforms and early-stage companies are built, scaled, and operated from the inside.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain global exposure while being based in Cape Town, working closely with senior leadership and operators across our portfolio. You’ll gain hands-on experience in venture execution and business building across multiple companies and initiatives within the Dubois Holdings ecosystem.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founder's Associates to join Dubois Holdings working across the portfolio / or embedded in companies within the portfolio. This is a generalist role as it sits at the centre of operations, working closely with the founder on across all business areas including / not limited to: strategy, finance, technology / internal systems, marketing, operations etc.
You’ll act as a force multiplier to leadership, contributing across all business areas. Day-to-day, you might be:
- Managing systems, documentation, and operational infrastructure
- Building automations or evaluating new tools to improve internal workflows and tech stack
- Designing or testing simple AI agents to optimise reporting, CRM usage, or operational processes
- Drafting investment memos, reports, and materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting research and analysis to support decision-making, strategy, and execution
- Supporting business development and investor outreach, including follow-ups and coordination
- Assisting in the creation of presentations, decks, and investor updates
- Helping structure workflows, refine systems, and improve process efficiency
- Supporting team planning, meetings, and administrative coordination
- Supporting data tracking and dashboards across portfolio companies, investors, and internal initiatives
This is a hands-on role for someone eager to understand how businesses are built and scaled – ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.

- A recent graduate or final-year student (Class of 2025) OR business professional with 1-2 years of experience, excited to launch your career in venture and business building
- Hungry to learn, grow, and take ownership across a wide range of responsibilities
